I really enjoy all kinds of good music, and I do walk away from "bad music" when I can. By saying "bad music" I mean those music which make me want to run away from it, because my body does cannot tolerate the vibration and chemistry of such music. It is like as if my body rejects to certain food simply because it tastes bad or it makes me sick.
The kind of music which gives me worst shivers is what I call " Psedo- spiritual music", and it is ironically played most often in meditation groups and yoga places, and a lot of people buy those product to mediate at home. It certainly sells...
The reason I can't stand it: Pseudo-spiritual music mimics the ethereal and perfect harmony and often without including humanness, but the truth is: good music IS ALREADY spiritual and ethereal, and you don't need to " make" it and emphasize it.
The mechanism of psedo-spiritual music is just the same as making a porn movie, only with better intention, and we don't need to force ourselves to like it. Don't be afraid to say it out loud if it also gives you shivers too. I think it is good sign that you are still sensitive to aesthetic and your own authenticity.
