My vision is to make contemporary music so organic, that it touch the primal core of each human being; so powerful, that people suddenly get a glimpse who they are when they listen.

I believe it is every single human's innate nature to love contemporary art, only years of conditioning  makes it less and less accessible. Children's art  and pictures under microscopes often affirms me that belief.  The paradox is, even though the  understanding contemporary art needs tremendous instinct, it does often  require re-education and de-conditioning also.

The unique charm about contemporary music

I have found out from my own experience as both a performer and listener, that the elements of raw energy, irregular rhythm, complexity and dissonance in new music, when performed well, directly penetrates through the primordial core of human beings. It touches the primitive level in our body’s biological system, a level which classical music cannot access as well.

Some contemporary music  reflect the state prior to the formation of language and a state beyond the language's capacity for expression.  It can also manifest organization or disorganization of the cells and nature force.

Whether contemporary music will reach the audiences or not depends very much on performer, composition,   the venue, and many, many details.   For me, it is  very much  of "Gesamtkunstverk".  My vision is to make contemporary art easier to understand, not by degrading it and making it " easy", but by expressing the core and detail of each work to the maximum. It needs the both feeling and knowledge for theatre, body movement, sonority, and visual art (again, " Gesamtkunstverk").  The most important of all, it needs humanity, curiosity, dedication and time.

Here are some examples of children's art ( in particular Toddlers art)  and pictures  I found by googling  " children's art" or " toddlers art" . They really fascinate me.

Please go to "the world under microscope" in my " diary" to see more amazing photos.

We are made of the so-called " Modern Art, " and we can't help expressing who, how, and what we are made of.
