I am practicing very intensively these days...I am preparing for my debut in Jazz House in Copenhagen on March 29.
I am going to make the Danish premiere of Pierluiggi Billone's " Mani.Matta." It is such a masterpiece- the notation, the spirit, the creativity, and the depth.... I saw Christian Dierstein perform this piece in Impuls Festival in 2011...it made such an deep impression in me, that I decided that I must perform this work one day.
Even though it is very difficult to play, I very much enjoy the new coordination that my body has learned so far.
I very much look forward to next Saturday's performance.
