Sonic Architecture 2025 embarked on its first concert at Grundtvig’s Church on May 15th, with the premiere of the site-specific work “DUSK” for organ and percussion duo — written especially for Grundtvigs Kirken’s 6- second echo.
The project continues with the “underground concert walk” in acoustically fascinating mines and bunkers that are important to Danish history, as well as beautiful buildings with haunting echos like Brønshøj Water Tower.
This autumn, Sonic Architecture 2025 collaborates with the Copenhagen Architecture Biennial. One of the highlights will be the premiere of Mirage: An Architectural Sonic Experience at the Grand Teatret on September 28th. Another key event will be the opening performance at Thorvaldsens Museum, Cold Wars Museum in Stevnsfort, and Brønshøj Water Tower.
